Organic Vapor Cartridge

For use with 3M 6000 series or 3M 7500 series respirators.

The 3M Organic Vapor Cartridge when coupled with the half piece mask is ideal for inhalation protection while applying waxes like Briwax that pose high toxicity risks from the aromatic vapor of toluene and xylene.

The 3M Organic Vapor Cartridge, 6001, is used in a variety of workplace applications, including petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, construction, transportation and electronics. When properly fitted, these cartridges help provide respiratory protection from certain organic vapors at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half face pieces or 50 times PEL with full face pieces. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
